Maintenance & Cleaning

Chair Fabric

In case of food or drink spills, wash the spot immediately with warm soapy water and allow the cushion, rugs or footstool to dry in an upright position.

For more thorough cleaning, all cushion or footstool covers can be removed and machine-washed at 30°C. Make sure the cover is completely dry before putting it back on the product. All throws are machine washable at 30°C.

For stubborn stains or built-up soil, carefully wash with a recommended stain remover, such as Vanish (Vanish Oxi Action)

Aluminum / Warm Galvanized Steel

Aluminium furniture generally requires a minimum of maintenance. If the furniture is stored near the coast, it will need to be cleaned more frequently using fresh water and soap. Don’t be too rough on your furniture to avoid causing dents, as this can damage the powder coating. At worst, moisture can reach the aluminium and damage the finish.

Vases, glass and similar items can lead to marks on the surface, if there is moisture under the item for more days. Make sure to keep the surface clean and dry, if things / items are put on the table for several days.

Teak

Teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indoneasia’s timber legalityassurance system) certification system. This is a guarantee that the teak production supports responsible forest management.Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak furniture is delivered untreated. If thefurniture remains untreated, the teakwood will patina over time and turn pale grey colour. If you wish to retain the originalgolden colour, we recommend treating teak furniture with a recommended teak sealant. Please note that teakwood is a naturalproduct and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks can develop due to drying and that slats can warpslightly.

Storing

Here are some effective ways to store your furniture during autumn and winter to ensure maximum protection and make spring cleaning easier:

Furniture Frames:

• The ideal option is to store furniture frames indoors.
• Alternatively, you can store them on a covered terrace, patio, or carport, providing protection from the elements.
• If you choose to store them outdoors under a furniture cover, be cautious of potential condensation formation. To prevent mold and mildew, lift the cover away from the furniture frame, allowing proper air circulation and minimizing condensation.

Furniture Cushions:

• The best practice is to store cushions indoors in a well-ventilated room.
• Another option is to use a cushion box on a covered terrace, patio, or carport to shield them from the elements while ensuring adequate ventilation.
• Avoid storing cushions directly on the furniture frames, as this can lead to the development of mold and mildew on the surfaces, making spring cleaning more challenging.

"Gray Teak" is solid teak wood finished with a solution that expedites the aging process of teak to a natural silver tone. Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks. By ordering Gray Teak, you accept these characteristics and agree that no claim will be approved regarding the natural aging process of teak or the special color qualities associated with the Gray Teak finish. Special care should be taken to protect this natural finish.
