As part of the Exterior collection, the sofa features an AluRattan, frame, a lightweight aluminum tubing that resembles natural rattan. Skilled wicker craftsmen artfully wrap the rattan-like canes with ArtFibre, weather-resistant bindings. The result is a maintenance-free sofa that can withstand year-round outdoor exposure while preserving the same elegance, comfort, and flexibility of natural rattan lounging furniture.

Materials

• AluRattan - a powder-coated aluminum bent to mimic the curves of natural rattan. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The material is well-suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
• ArtFibre - a fibre made of dyed and hard-wearing polyethylene. It is ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant. The ArtFibre® is flexible and, when woven, provides optimal comfort and a structure that is strong and can maintain its shape for years on end.
• Sunbrella and Tempotest Fabrics - Our cushions are manufactured using premium Sunbrella and Tempost fabrics. Both are solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, making them fade-, mildew-, and stain-resistant. Used across industries as choices for marine and outside-shade applications, they will weather all conditions with your outdoor BOXHILL furniture.
